When the weather outside is frightful…
While many people recognize that shoveling snow is hard work, physiotherapists caution that shoveling can place severe stress on your heart, and cause stress and strain on your body. The Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation has identified snow shoveling as a high-risk activity for cardiovascular events.
Tips for safe shoveling

2. Take frequent breaks
3. Separate the job into smaller stages to prevent overexertion
